Stuffed Mini Peppers with Cream Cheese
Not every delicious snack has to be loaded with calories and carbs- like these stuffed peppers, for example. These stuffed mini peppers are salty, savory, and crunchy, with the added bonus of being low-carb and keto. Not to mention, bright and colorful! These easy stuffed mini peppers make a great (and delicious!) alternative to potato chips and french fries. And between you and me, they make the healthiest midnight snack!
This quick and easy snack comes together in minutes. Simply cut the peppers, combine the cream cheese with garlic powder, and garnish with Everything Bagel seasoning- easy peasy!
Aside from being a healthy lunch snack or appetizer, these stuffed peppers are also perfect for parties, potlucks, and gatherings. Fill a platter with these colorful peppers and watch them disappear!
What is Everything Bagel Seasoning, Anyways?
It’s only one of the best seasonings ever made! Everything Bagel seasoning is the perfect combination of black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, flaked sea salt, dried onion flakes, poppy seeds, and dried minced garlic. Besides making this snack extra delicious, it’s also great on salmon, homemade bagels, and bread.
You can either buy Everything Bagel seasoning at the store or you can make it homemade.
Are Mini Sweet Peppers the Same as Bell Peppers?
These mini peppers are actually sweeter than the average bell pepper. The flavor is just as vibrant as their colors and makes a healthy addition to any meal. Mini bell peppers are just so freaking cute and would also work as a great substitution for this recipe.
Whichever pepper you choose will still be an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, potassium, fiber, and folic acid.

To make these quick and easy garlic cream cheese stuffed peppers, you will need these four ingredients:
- Mini peppers
- Cream cheese

About the Peppers
These peppers are normally found in a 1-pound bag in the produce section. They can also be grown at home- which I’m seriously considering doing next year!
How to Make Everything Bagel Stuffed Mini Sweet Peppers
Once the ingredients have been gathered, be sure to wash each pepper. Remove the stems and cut each pepper in half lengthwise. Carefully remove all seeds and membranes.
Next, take the softened cream cheese and mix it with the garlic powder until it’s smooth and creamy. Then, stuff each pepper with the cream cheese mixture. Using the back of a spoon or a piping bag will make stuffing these peppers a lot easier.
Finally, garnish each pepper with Everything Bagel seasoning.
What Other Fillings Can I use to Stuff Mini Sweet Peppers?
Anything and everything! The possibilities are really endless. Using just plain cream cheese would still be delicious! Lately, I’ve been thinking about mixing cream cheese with green onions and garlic- kind of a “rangoon-type” stuffed pepper. Hmm…
Here are a few unique stuffing ideas:
- Simple Herb and Garlic Cream Cheese
- Homemade French Onion Dip
- Crack Dip
- Bacon, Scallion, and Cream Cheese Dip
These peppers can also be baked at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, for a warm and savory snack.
How to Store Stuffed Mini Sweet Peppers
Refrigerate: Store in an airtight container for up to three days. The seasoning will get soft in the refrigerator, so it’s best to season with Everything Bagel seasoning when they’re ready to be served.
Freezer: I do not recommend freezing these stuffed peppers.
